SD A Baseball 2019 Bat Rules

Here's what you need to know:

The SD A Baseball League will no longer allow bats that are marked with a 1.15BPF stamp. They will need the USA Baseball stamp.

SD A Bat Regulations

12u & Younger: up to a -13 drop and 2 1/4 or 2 5/8in barrel

13u - 13/14u: up to a -9 drop and 2 5/8in barrel

14U: In order to better transition to the upcoming -3 ounce BBCOR bat which all players will swing the following year, as well as keep your bat legal for all out-of-state tournaments, it is the recommendation of YBA that a bat for 14U be not lighter than -5 ounces with barrel not being larger than 2 5/8 inches in diameter.

15u -16u: -3 drop and BBCOR 2 5/8 in barrel

Legion and Jr Legion: -3 drop and BBCOR 2 5/8 in barrel
